Space in Africa, in conjunction with the African Union Commission and the Angolan Management Office for the National Space Program (GGPEN Angola), under the auspices of the Ministry of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Social Communication (MINTTIC), is convening the 2024 NewSpace Conference from 2th to 5th April 2024 at the Talatona Convention Hotel, Luanda, Angola.
Like in the previous years, SatNav Africa JPO joined space stakeholders to contribute to this important and unique event in Africa.
The first day witnessed various contributions among which a Panel on Satellite solutions for agricultural transformation and food security which among others provided a full landscape of available technologies (#RTK #DGNSS #PPP #CORs #SBAS), infrastructure and service providers for precision agriculture notwithstanding the current challenges. Advocacy to develop Young entrepreneurship and African capacity to support this priority Sector transformation was widely shared by panelists.
