Dear Partners,
We are pleased to announce that SatNav Africa Joint Programme Office (JPO), in partnership with the Government of Cabo Verde, Ministry of Digital Economy will be organising a high-level Satellite Navigation Conference with the Theme "Leveraging GNSS Technology for Enhanced Multi-Hazard Early Warning Systems (EMHWS) in Africa."

The Conference, which focuses on the role of GNSS technologies in advancing disaster resilience across the continent, will serve as a pre-Event to the planned 2025 International Satellite Navigation Conference of Africa.

The 2024 Pre-Event Conference in hybrid mode will feature interactive sessions and expert presentations on key topics such as the integration of satellite data and GNSS technologies, public-private collaboration in early warning system development, and inclusive disaster management that addresses the needs of vulnerable groups.
